The team route to a big day

A proposed marathon relay format for people who want a shared endurance event without each running a full marathon.

In planning · No scheduled runs or registration yet

Share the experience

Our official marathon concept includes a possible relay for teams of two to four. That format is still being developed; team size, leg lengths, exchange locations, and support have not been confirmed. Do not plan a team trip around the proposal.

Keep the achievement clear

Completing a relay leg is a team accomplishment. It does not count as an individual full-marathon finish toward the First 100. A runner can still enjoy a relay now and pursue a solo first marathon at another time.

Plan for the whole team

Before registration could open, the event would need published exchange rules, transport guidance, participant eligibility, timing, and a policy for team changes. Teams should not assume a leg can be swapped freely or that waiting areas are available on the bridge itself.
