Know the setting

East Bay Regional Park District describes Point Isabel and its connection to more than 2.5 miles of nearby Bay Trail. Designated park areas have off-leash dog use under the district’s rules; do not assume the same rule applies to every connecting trail.

Shape your outing

Use the park map to choose a start, a legal path, and a turnaround. A short out-and-back can be easier to manage than combining unfamiliar connectors. The nearby Bay Trail length is not a measured club loop.

Share the route well

Expect dogs and people moving unpredictably, and slow down rather than squeezing through a gap. A future group run would need to explain whether participants can bring dogs and how the chosen route fits park rules. No Bay Area Running event is currently scheduled here.

Maps, access, and current conditions

Use the official source below for the park map, current notices, and visitor rules. This is an editorial planning guide, not turn-by-turn navigation, a measured course, or a live conditions report. Any organized club outing needs its own confirmed route and event details.

GOOD TO KNOW

Questions, answered.

Is this an organized group run?

No. This page is a route-planning resource. Linked crews are proposed and do not establish a date, captain, or meeting point here.

Is there a GPX or verified club distance?

No surveyed club course or GPX is provided. Use the official map and check the exact segment; trail-network lengths do not define your outing.
